In the Search Pane area we notice the filter read:no as we can see in the image below meaning that the messages that have not been read will only appear. That is it!!! Now our Inbox will only display the messages that are marked as unread.
The first available command from the drop down menu is the Unread command where we can use in order to filter our search results to show mail messages that are marked as unread. Then we activate the arrow at the right of the Filter Email command in order for the drop down menu to appear as shown in the image below. If we want to filter our Inbox in order to view all the Unread Messages of our Mailbox we must follow the steps described below.įirst of all we must make sure that the Home tab is activated and then at the right area of the ribbon we must locate the Find area as shown below. The options available are Current Folder, Subfolders, Current Mailbox and All Outlook Items.īy using this feature in Outlook 13 only the Unread Messages of the current folder will appear. If we want to specify a different folder for the filtering, we can activate the drop down menu at the right of the search pane as we can see below. Once our mail has been filtered in order to view our Unread Messages, the Search Tools tab activates as shown in the image below where we can use in order to do more advanced filtering.
